Attitude Towards Change February 03 2014
How do you handle the changes that come into your life? Are you defiant, scared, fearful or have a tendency to point out the negatives without seeing what good might come from it? Do people reject or regret being in your company because of your attitude?
Or are you optimistic, looking for the good that will come from the change or what you are to learn from it if you are open to the teaching?
Your Attitude is the deal breaker between being negative or positive. Attitude is a state of your mind.
Only you can change these two things if you really want to become a happier person. I have been reminded lately that your Attitude will direct your behavior towards that change and your attitude will also direct the technique(s) in how you handle it.
I have a sign on my kitchen wall that reminds me of this everyday. It reads: Your thoughts become your words, your words become your actions, your actions become your habits, your habits become your character and your character is everything.
Another way to look at this is: Your Thoughts become your feelings, your feelings become your Actions and your Actions = Results.
Notice all the YOURS in those two statements. Is it time that you start accepting YOUR attitude as only YOURS to change and stop blaming it on other people?
